At Timeless Gifts,
we want you to enjoy your handmade jewelry and handmade
gift items forever. Your jewelry is a precious possession
that is designed to last a lifetime. Although swarovski
(austrian) crystals are a durable substance, they are
not indestructible and some minimal care will keep them
looking their finest.
Properly caring for your handcrafted treasure will
ensure its beauty is kept for generations.
For handmade jewelry:
- After wearing, wipe with a soft, clean cloth (such
as a chamois cloth).
- Make your handmade jewelry the last thing you put
on before leaving the house (avoid contact with any
chemicals, perfumes, hairspray, etc.)
- Remove your handmade jewelry before exercising,
bathing, swimming, household chores, etc.,
- Don’t let your handmade jewelry come into
contact with abrasive soaps or chemicals.
- Do not use tarnish-removing dips on pieces that
have natural decorative oxidation.
- Do not use a tarnish cloth as it can remove the
AB coating on the Swarovski crystals
- When you are not wearing your handmade jewelry,
store them in a cool, dry place.
- Jewelry can be worn over or under clothing. If you
intend to wear it against your bare skin you should
be aware that perspiration may cause some components
to discolor.
- Store your handmade jewelry separately so it doesn't
scratch other jewelry.
- Store your handmade jewelry away from sunlight
as it may fade the crystals.
- Most of our handmade jewelry have long-lasting
finishes on them, so if they are cared for properly,
they should not need cleaning for several years.
